This hardworking father and husband needed a place he could escape at the end of a long day—not a man cave—no no, this is a man parlor. A much more sophisticated version of the garage-turned-beer-guzzling-hangouts of years past. No neon wall signs, no kegs (a wine cooler, though…yes please!) and no TV (gasp!) We had custom wall-to-wall built-ins created to display personal memorabilia and photos, went dark on the walls, molding and ceiling and added new lighting and window treatments. We used masculine materials like leather, herringbone and cowhide to complete the look. Now it is an escape—just the place for our client to relax and sip on that perfectly aged whiskey with his friends!
